Our Call to Conversion and Evangelization
The feast of Pentecost calls us to celebrate the great gift of the Church to the world. Through the Fruits (Charity, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Generosity, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Modesty, Self-Control, Chastity) and Gifts (Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, Fear of the Lord) of the Holy Spirit, the Church has flourished for some two thousand years bringing the Good News of the Love of God to those near and far and offering comfort and solace to those in need.

Conducting Balanced Investigations
In the first article of this topic series, we began a discussion of investigation basics for organizations. This article will address the proper way to initiate an investigation as well as how balance all of the interests involved in a complaint or allegation.

Information for Adults to Share with Children and Teens about Internet Safety
Going online can be like walking a tight rope; it's probably best if you don't get too distracted. Have you ever wondered what might happen right before you double click your web browser? The world holds many things wondrous, but it also harbors many dangers, and the Internet can bring the world to your fingertips, but just like the real world, it also brings some of the same wonders and dangers.

Why investigate incidents, concerns, and allegations?
Any organization built around people can one day expect a report of an incident, concern, or an allegation of wrongdoing. When that happens, it is essential to conduct or commission an effective investigation.

Why are we surprised?
Bullying: adults do it openly and without apology, and until adults clean up their act, there is little hope that our children will. Why are we surprised, then, when our children and youth ostracize, act mean-spirited, exclude, badger, smear, laugh at, and condemn, others?

What is your opinion?
How often do you continue to educate yourself and others about child sexual abuse prevention?
Often—at least weekly

Sometimes—a few times a month

Occasionally—when I happen to think about it
